AML Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Anti-Money-Laundering ("AML") Policy summarises the measures Rustly takes to deter and detect money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crime through the Service.
1. Our commitment
We operate a risk-based program intended to prevent the Service from being used to launder money or finance illegal activity. We monitor activity, verify users where appropriate, and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
2. Know-Your-Customer (KYC)
We may require you to verify your identity, age, source of funds, and ownership of a payment method or wallet before processing deposits or withdrawals, particularly where activity is unusual, high-value, or flagged as higher risk. We may suspend transactions or accounts until verification is satisfactorily completed.
3. Monitoring
Deposits, withdrawals, gameplay, and transfers are monitored for patterns that may indicate abuse, such as depositing and immediately withdrawing with little or no play, structuring, use of multiple accounts, or mismatched payment details. Withdrawals may be paid only to a verified source where required.
4. Prohibited activity
You may not use the Service to launder proceeds of crime, to fund illegal activity, to process payments on behalf of third parties, or to circumvent sanctions or regional restrictions. Using funds you are not legally entitled to is strictly prohibited.
5. Reporting & records
We keep records of transactions and verification information for the period required by law, and we may report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. Where we are legally required to do so, we may freeze funds or restrict an account without prior notice.
6. Consequences
Accounts involved in suspected money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime may be suspended or closed, affected balances may be withheld pending investigation, and matters may be referred to law enforcement.
